Floyd, VA May 9, 2014

The Floyd Artisan Market kicked off their new season of Friday Fest on Friday night, with face-painting,

fabulous arts and crafts and music under the Community Pavilion. Vendors brought wares varying from

soaps and body products to paintings, ocarinas, painted gourds and jewelry.

Friday Fest is a new event this year, and will continue every Friday evening from 5p.m.-9p.m., through

the season, weather permitting. Community members and travelers partook of face-painting, craft

demonstrations and fellowship all while local musicians kept the pavilion rocking.

Throughout the season, more demonstrations and music will be offered, while local artisans’ vend hand-
crafted wares like pottery, woodwork, lamps, bird-feeders, all-natural body products, paintings, jewelry,

locally published books, bird-feeders, and so much more!

Join us this season at Friday Fest in downtown Floyd, under the Community Pavilion for fun times for the whole family!
